I am honored to write a testimonial for Pastor Tanya C. Stokes who has authored yet another well penned and thought provoking, fascinating book entitled DIE WITHOUT REGRETS. This treatise literally provides a foundation for living a life framed by hope and rooted in faith. And while she cogently observes that “hope gives one a reason to live;” she also becomes a spiritual and inspirational cheerleader for living a quality life. Indeed, being a “good steward” (p. 124) for God’s blessings, as Tanya explains, provides the grace in our life necessary for overcoming obstacles. Tanya Stokes’ transparency in sharing her life’s journey demonstrates that she understands the importance of a winning mindset. In her book, Die Without Regrets, she encourages those who want to win in life to avoid making the ‘costly mistake of not valuing’ themselves or their talents. Tanya strategically combats the deterrents of comparison and fear, as she walks us through the ‘Champion Confession’ and other strategies designed to aid us in embracing the spirit of a champion.
